An Equity and Human Rights advocate, Mrs. Huda Alsarraj is a Knowledge Broker within the Mental Health field. Mrs. Alsarraj has worked in defending human rights for Muslim communities throughout Canada. Prior to that, Huda developed a number of campaigns on Campus at York University, on equity issues, including profiling, xenophobia and sexual assault.

With over 5 years of experience, Huda has worked on creating policies and practices that work towards creating a culture of inclusion, diversity and respect for all. Currently, she sits as a Board Member for the Syrian Canadian Foundation.
